Our story

How we got our start?

Established in 1889 by harness-maker W. O. Barnett, we were known for the quality of our cotton collar pads. After WWII we started making latex foam filled dining chair pads and rocking chair cushions. In 1990 our President inherited the company from her father, & we’re proud to be woman-owned.

What makes our product unique?

To uphold our founder’s +130 year tradition of quality, we use premium materials such as our latex foam fill that won’t go flat, & superior construction methods like lock-stitched seams & triple-stitched ties. To uphold our obligation to the next generation, we use recycled & sustainable materials.

As a hand-crafted brand, it’s not easy competing with brands that use automation or outsource labor to foreign countries. But we’re proud to uphold the legacy of American manufacturing and to support 30 families in Macon Georgia with better safety standards & fair wages & working hours.
