Measuring Liquid Temperature

1. Press the surface/forehead temperature switch button to select the surface temperature measurement mode. You should see the surface measurement mode icon displayed in the top right-hand corned of the unit’s display screen.

2. To measure a liquid’s temperature, please measure the outside of the container. This is to avoid the condensation of gases on the sensor/probe tip, which can affect the accuracy of the unit. Insulated containers will not allow for accurate exterior surface readings.
